When it comes to family and relationships
There are no SMALL surprises

“A lovely, funny, unabashedly odd romance from first-time feature filmmaker Matt Aselton” –Steve Ramos, indieWIRE

PAUL DANO and ZOOEY DESCHANEL star in the offbeat, surreal love story about the anxiety that arises when two people with crazy families collide…

Brian (PAUL DANO) is a mattress store worker who wants to adopt a Chinese baby. When free-spirited Harriet aka “Happy” (ZOOEY DESCHANEL) comes into his store one day and falls asleep on a bed, he is swept up in a romance that rocks his quiet world. Their new love twists and turns around their many eccentric relatives and Brian’s looming call from the adoption agency. GIGANTIC also stars John Goodman, Ed Asner and Jane Alexander, and features a very special appearance by comedy genius Zack Galifianakis.

GIGANTIC’s awesome soundtrack features music by ANIMAL COLLECTIVE and RODDY BOTTUM.

After the world premiere at Toronto Int’l Film Festival 2008, GIGANTIC is now coming to theaters across the country!

  1. First! 😛
I’m very big fan of Paul Dano and I have been waiting for this film for months 😀
    nothing to add. 😛

  2. from the trailer, it appears to be a movie i will want to see. i don’t like john goodman as an actor but ed asner is an excellent choice for his role. the two young actors are charming. i’m not a movie critic or even a connoisseur but i am commenting because my daughter, emily martinez dutoit got her apartment through adam nagata and if it weren’t for that she wouldn’t have been in mediba on dekalb where she met her husband. i love small world experiences!

We’re glad to hear of your anticipation, and will keep you posted!

  4. Hey, didn’t know how to reply to you any other way! It’s fine if you use my image on your site (credit where credit’s due of course, like you said!) Can you tell me a bit more about this site? Who’s the author?

  5. Hey guys, thanks again for the review, just wondering if it would be possible to get an interview with Matt Aselton if possible, as a follow up for the release in the UK?

E-mail me if interested! 🙂 thanks.

  6. Hey, I was just wondering if the film will be released in Spain at any point?

    Thanks ^.^
